Welcome Farees

Spring is in full swing with gorgeous weather,
apricot blossoms out the kitchen window, and, of course,
the call for Fairy Houses.

One of the best parts of having kids is celebrating anything and everything
(I sort of already did that, but at least now it makes me out to be
a pro-active mom instead of some crazy, holiday-lovin' kook!)

These cousins had a blast making theirs and setting them out for their future occupants!

Squatting for 'The Goz'

Last week I joined a friend in a Facebook challenge-
one squat for every 'like' received for this image:

Photo: Ha!! How about a little SQUAT fun? I will do a squat for every LIKE this image gets!! You have until 8pm tonight.

Well, I'm nothing if not good on promises, so
here are the results of my follow-through...

Sweet Cheeks

Absolutely love this sweet little boy and his wonderful mom- always a treat to work with dear friends!
Being almost three months premature, this was a 'newborn shoot' in the loosest sense,
but I was thrilled at what a dream Michael was to photograph!

Those cheeks.
Those eyes.

Good heavens.

One already...

Sometimes I can't believe how fast time passes.
It feels like I only just photographed my sweet niece, and now here she is turning one,
and eyeing her smash cake with deep suspicion.

An dainty little princess with a perfect party to match!

Superman Day

Sam walked into the kitchen the other morning and declared the day a 'Superman Day'.
His daddy couldn't resist joining him.

So here's a little Clark Kent to start your morning right.

The Anniversary Box

My wonderful parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary last month,
and, as their five children are spread across the country, we came up with an exciting plan
to help them celebrate, even if we couldn't all be together.

An anniversary party...in a box.
We filled it with letters, sparklers, a set of pillowcases reading 'C'est L'amour',
ringpops, memories from the grandchildren,
a cake for two, and a myriad of other gifts.
Ryan & I were the lucky ones making the special delivery, so we got to watch
their delighted faces as helium balloons flew up and around them upon opening-
priceless!!

Thanks to my siblings for being so on top of getting their bits and pieces to me in time-
I LOVE being part of such a creative family!

Here's a look at how it all came together...
