I didn't take near as many photos this Fourth as I usually do, but here are a few of the highlights anyway,
The kids loved the parade we joined Mese & her family for in Provo-
they laughed and cheered for all the costumed princesses walking by as well as any float that sparkled,
but you should have seen the silence & confused faces that accompanied the giant Fred Flintstone balloon
"Wait, who...?"
Hello generation gap.
The day was spent eating spicy roasted chicken, salads,
and Sweet Corn & Bangkok Peanut ice creams from my mother's day gift.
There are simply no words-
nothin' but yummy sounds, and the rolling back of eyes.
The last pic was on our way to watch fireworks with my brother Shay & his family;
it's always fun to know we aren't the only church that uses food as bribery for attendance!
